Create a Customer Avatar
My typical customer is a UF student, most probably between the ages of 18-22 that either does not have a car on campus or does and is willing to drive a carpool for compensation. My customer is both male and female, they tend to have busy schedules and require rides throughout the day. My typical customer is also very timely as they would rather carpool than take the bus. They are economical as well and like to save money as they would rather not pay for an uber and instead use my app. Most of my customers will use the app to also go back to their hometown during breaks and connect with drivers, so they tend to live further or do not have friends that live near them. I connect with my customer avatar because I do not have a car on campus either, I have a scooter, but need a car to go to places further like Publix or Target on Archer. I also use Uber or Lyft to go out at night but would never use it in the day because I think it is expensive. I do not use the RTS bus because it takes too long to get places sometimes. I also live far from Gainesville, about 5.5 hours driving, so I would use the app to go home.

Final Reflection
1. The most formative experience was when I first came up with the ADVcarpool idea, it was like a light bulb lit...
Hey Nicole I think in a college community or any high traffic city your idea would be the perfect idea. It is similar to Uber or Lyft, but your idea has a slight nuance which differentiates your idea from the others. Something I learned in class was that sometimes you don’t have to be completely different with your product. If you are able to provide a more efficient service or have better quality you can over take the competition.
