The most formative experience was when I first came up with the
ADVcarpool idea, it was like a light bulb lit up and all these ideas just
started pouring in and I was able to develop a plan in very little time. I
think I’ll remember interviewing people about my idea because I had never
really interviewed anyone about something I created. I am most proud of myself
for actually turning in all my assignments on Fridays, I am very bad at time
management. I usually always leave everything for the last minute so I am
surprised I was able to finish everything on time.

I now do see myself as an entrepreneur because of all the
different exercises we had to do and solutions we had to come up with to
different problems. Before I did not think in this problem-solution mindset.

My recommendation is to
just choose something that you really like and could spend a lot of time
working on. It has to be something that you are genuinely interested in and
could see yourself actually working on in real life, not something that you do
just for profit. To foster your mindset, try to observe problems in everyday
life and see if you can come up with practical solutions

I hope you do really see yourself as an entrepreneur, because your idea was a great one for the students. I hope it really can be implemented on some level. Sometimes the simplest thing can make such a big impact on us all. It just takes a little time to think it through. Your venture concept was one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteHey! I also feel like one of the hardest parts was coming up with the idea. After that it was cool to see how you can add to it, and also seeing it develop over the semester. I agree that the exercises were extremely helpful when learning to think like an entrepreneur. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThe brainstorming part of this class was definitely difficult. It seemed hard to get something going, but I think once you got going, you cam up with something great. Your business could potentially help out a lot of people. Good luck!
